Many people find it a but shocking that living in Las Vegas, we tend to get the winter blues. Just like our midwest counterparts, we get a little down because of the weather. . But we do. Instead of snow, we normally get rain. This year its lots and lots of rain…. We are breaking the rain records and its only February. So the blues have turned to blahs…

Now if you’re looking for the white stuff, that we have in the higher elevations of Mt Charleston. That’s where you might find a hot number like Alyna, prancing around the sky slopes.

So to fight off the blues, I like to travel over to the Domai website and see what Mr Eolake has posted today. I don’t know how he does it, but he is able to find some of the most innocent, happy, natural nudes on earth. Really… Take a look and see if he doesn’t take away the winter blues…

Lets Be Real Friends

Pet peeve #1 in Social Media/Internet Marketing… Not talking to me, but wanting to be my “Friend.” Lets get real.

I don’t mind you wanting to be my “Friend” on Facebook or wherever I may be. In fact, I would love for you to be my “Friend.” Just tell me who you are and I probably would accept the “Friend” request. But to do this..

Then when I want to see who you are… I get this…

You want me to send you a message before we can be friends?? Buddy, You’re the one who requested the friendship first!! Shouldn’t the message come from YOU First?? Approve you as a “Friend”?? I don’t think so. At least buy me a drink and a kiss before we jump into the sack, ok??

How about trying to be social? After all, this is social media isn’t it?? So lets be social. Tell me why you want to be my friend when you request to be a “Friend”. Show me you are a little more human than a slug collecting germs and I will hit the accept button 99 out of 100 times.

Try this next time… Write a message introducing yourself. I don’t care if it’s a freak’ing form letter you created six months ago. At least it shows you are taking a little time and putting a little effort into forming this relationship.

See, even in the primitive days of email marketing, the scammers and spammers had more manners than many people on Facebook, Fetlife or any other social media websites. They at least had the manners to create a friendly form letter introducing themselves to you before they hit you with the sucker punch.

You want to build up a “Friends” list that will rock the world and make you some serious cash down the road? Then put some thought into the relationship. Make them think you are serious and want to be friends. Even if you don’t, at least make it look right from the beginning and they will remember you later on down the road.

Pop in with an introductory letter or message saying “Hi, How are you? Saw your page and thought (blank) was really cool. Telling them why you like their page and why you want to be their friend. Next, don’t block them out when they want to see if you are real.

That is one thing I do like about the photo site Flickr. There you can at least make them a contact or a friend before you ask them to do the same. Allowing them to get a taste of what you have to offer.

So Let’s Be friends. Ok?? Really.
